Captain : Scott Pelletier / Knot Right Fishing Team

The Knot Right Fishing Team was formed in 2012, by team members Kent Raynor, Tim Parker, Steve Marshburn, and Scott Pelletier. Jodie Gay joined us in 2014 and we fished as Bluewater Candy/ Knot Right Fishing Team. We finished 2nd in SKA division one, that year and went on to finish 3rd in the Nationals in the small boat class. We stepped up to The Onslow Bay 33 for 2015. We struggled at the beginning of the season trying to catch quality fish. We finished 5th in the Swansboro Five-o and rang the bell with the last tournament of the year winning the Cape Lookout Shootout Series Championship with a 68.67 pound King Mackerel, largest in a tournament on the Atlantic Coast. We look forward to 2016 and hope it’s as good as 2015.

Justin Hill Captain of Family Time Fishing Team has spent time on the water during his entire life.  Growing up bass fishing in the spring and fall also spending summers on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina King Fishing.  Once he graduated High School, he began working on a commercial bottom-fishing vessel until he entered the United States Marines.  He was still spending time on the water during his time spent in United States Marines becoming a Chief Coxswain.  He was also able to mate on boats out of Ocean Side Harbor California during this time.  After leaving the Marines he was introduced to Tournament King Fishing by his now wife Kristen Hill, Co Captain also our teams Lady Angler.  She had also spent time throughout her life on the water and Tournament King Fishing and has a strong passion for the sport as well.  She has proven herself very dedicated to the sport of fishing.  We have been very blessed to have two wonderful sons, which round out our team Stephen Hill 8,  and Talen Hill 6,  both of which have a love of fishing and spending time on the water.

Captain Sammy Papia / Bada Bing Fishing Team

Sammy Papia grew up his entire life around the water. As a young boy, Sammy was fishing out of Tampa Bay. As he got a little bit older, overnight grouper and snapper trips in the Gulf and Keys were not uncommon. Sammy is based in Orlando, Florida which means he has access to both coasts in 2 hours. Sammy has a love for the water and fishing. His ability to read the conditions and to find fish makes him a great captain. Sammy has used our Rigs for the last three years and has several Tournament wins in the Florida area. He is also his Div winner in the SKA for 2014. Congratulations Sammy and crew.

  Bout-Time

Victor Gulley has spent most of his life fishing. Growing up he spent his summers fishing the sounds, bays and surf fishing Topsail Island with his Dad.  In college he was introduced to bass fishing and spent the next two plus decades fishing bass tournaments and club tournaments. In the late 1990’s he and his wife Gabriella Gill Gulley purchased a vacation home on the Crystal Coast where they now reside full time. It was at this time Victor returned to his saltwater roots and was introduced to king mackerel fishing and has been “hooked” since.  In 2010 Victor became a member of the Amanda Gail Fishing Team and fished with that team at the SKA nationals in Fort Pierce, Florida.  He spent the next couple of years fishing SKA tournaments with that team.  In 2015 he formed the BOUT-TIME SALTWATER FISHING TEAM with team member Marty Jones. The highlight of the team’s first tournament season was a six place finish in their very first tournament. They fish on a 19 ft. Sea Pro proving that small boats can be competitive.

Victor has also served on the board of directors/tournament committee for two King mackerel tournaments.

Victor has used MR. TIGGER TACKLE Tournament rigs, offshore jigs and inshore lures for years, even before they were available to the public.
